We are delighted that from September 2012 Carr Manor High School will become a ‘Through School,’ called Carr Manor Community School. We will receive children from aged 4 years old into a new, purpose built primary building which will be located next to the current school buildings. Children who start in reception in September 2012 will be guaranteed a place in Year 7 of the secondary phase.
If you would like to visit the high school for further information, please contact Mrs Jane Farrer on 0113 336 8401. To apply for a place, contact Leeds City Council Admissions on 0113 2224414. We would like to welcome families old and new to share in the progression of the Carr Manor primary campus. Please do keep checking the Children 4-11 page for updates on the building works, along with news on how the school is growing and the decisions being made.
The fledgling Guiseley AFC / Carr Manor High School Youth Academy squad, who will be playing in the Football Conference Youth Alliance next season, visited Nethermoor with Guiseley Community and Youth Development Director Phil Rogerson for last Saturday’s Blue Square North clash with Bishops Stortford, where they were presented to the crowd at half-time and also met members of the football club’s management team.
Ofsted October 2011

Several aspects of its work are outstanding”. They also judged the school’s capacity for sustained improvement as outstanding.
This is an excellent achievement for our school and the local community. Please click on Publications then Ofsted, to view the full report.
